Position: Greeter Team Member
Reports to: Greeter Team Leader
Overview: Greeter Team Members are responsible for warmly welcoming guests and members to [Church Name] and ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. They play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and fostering a welcoming environment. Greeter Team Members are expected to adhere to the Our WIN (Grin and Be Friendly, Recognize Needs, Engage Everyone with Enthusiasm, Escort Guests, Thank Guests for Coming).
Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, wearing the provided greeter team t-shirt and lanyard.
- Check in with the Greeter Team Captain at the beginning of each shift.
- Respond promptly to Realm schedule invitations by accepting or declining to serve.
- Ensure your assigned greeter spot is covered. If unable to serve, find a replacement and inform the Greeter Team Captain.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to the Greeter Team Captain on ways to improve the guest experience.
- Communicate important information or needs of guests to the Greeter Team Leader, such as ways that Temple might be able to serve a family or individual.

- G - Grin and Be Friendly: Smile and greet guests warmly as they arrive.
- R - Recognize Needs: Be attentive to the needs of guests and offer assistance as needed.
- E - Engage Everyone with Enthusiasm: Interact with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
- E - Escort Guests: Offer to escort guests to their desired location within the church.
- T - Thank Guests for Coming: Express gratitude to guests for attending Temple.
Qualifications:
- A friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to adhere to the Our WIN guidelines and represent Temple positively.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry light objects (such as signs or materials for guest services).
Schedule:
Greeter Team Members are scheduled on a rotating basis and may be asked to serve during weekend services and special events.
